Job Summary: Designs and implements software for automotive testing machines. Actively participates in the development and the field support of these machines, worldwide.
Requirements: BSCS or BSEE or BSCE with equivalent programming experience strongly preferred. Ideal candidate will have exposure to real-time/multitasking software in C/C /C# and equipment/hardware integration. Self-starter and self-motivated individual who understands the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals. Thrives in a fast paced and changing work environment. Handles pressure with a positive attitude. Willing and able to travel as needed. Can work in multicultural environments.
Primary skills and responsibilities: (Others may be assigned)
- Programming real-time/multitasking control software in C/C /C#
- Understanding of electronic and computer hardware systems to troubleshoot multiprocessor software and hardware systems in the lab and in the field.
- Communicate with customers and manager to define requirements and resolve functionality
- Document code and manuals to ease software maintenance
- Supports equipment by providing remote online or on-site support throughout the world
- Familiarity with Unix and Windows programming
- Object oriented programming familiarity
- Modify and maintain software upgrades
- Basic understanding of our machines
- Travel as needed per team needs up to 20%
